Application Security
At EviTrack, security is paramount to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data stored within any application. As a consequence security features are incorporated into any software development process and not added as an after thought.
A comprehensive understanding of the way our applications, the hardware they use and procedural methods adopted allow us to protect data stored from threat. The need for this approach is paramount as our applications are designed to be accessible over networks, potentially making the applications available to a wider variety of threat.
As part of that process we have applied threat modelling techniques to identify potential threats, assess how such threats would be treated so as to minimise the risk through the development stage. Thereby enhancing the application security applied to our products.
This process is constantly monitored so that applications can be kept up to date with any threats that may evolve with new technologies.
The security measures built into our applications are designed to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access to applications and their data.
All our applications are compartmentalised in such a way as to secure host and application additional protocols allow for the securing of network connectivity.

Data storage:
- Data is stored using 256-bit AES encryption throughout
- ‘On-the-fly’ data encryption/decryption of data requests
- Encrypted back-up facility
- Encrypted archive option
- System Date & Time Validation
Network Connectivity:
All user access is undertaken using 256-bit SSL connectivity, irrespective of whether the user accessing the application is:
- In-house
- An authorised external client or customer
- Management from a regional office or
- Any other authorised user with Internet connectivity

- Built-in password policy compliant with current UK government standards (2011)
